Crappy Neighbors

How do you handle crappy Neighbors????

I am at my wits end with these folks that live around me. Every time I back out of my drive way I have to control my self & not become Tawanda from Fried Green Tomatoes & just plain RAM my neighbors cars because my insurance will cover it. Then I have the little girl up the street that watches until I leave & then walks her dog to take a s**t in MY yard. I understand you don't want the crap in your yard, since your house is up for Sale, but neither do I. Anyone looking for a new house, I might even offer a reward, like free bake goods every Friday. Just please but this house!!!!! That is why I don't have a dog at this moment. Keep the dog in your own yard & clean up after it!!!!!

I contact the President of the HOA. She states be neighborly & talk to them. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!! I am so glad that you were elected to handle the neighborhood problems.

I asked a girl friend how to handle the problems. She stated: "You can always get one of those signs for your yard...... "Clean up after your Dog" or "No dogs Allowed", "Beware of Owner".......

I think the "BEWARE OF OWNER" will be just fine!!!!!! Do you think if I place sign that states park behind my driveway at your own risk, Not liable for damages will work??????

I mean who in there right mind would put there vehicle right behind someones else's driveway?????

Pumkins

Nancy and I stopped at a local farmers market on the side of the road in Kernersville. I made her stop so I could get some pictuires of Emery with the pumkins. At first he was not sure he could touch them, but I explained it was ok. So of course, he just took off touch every one he could get his hands on. Kids are so funny, I tried to get him to sit by the pumkins & he jumped down immediately.Then every spot he saw open he would stop to sit on the bench beside them. I got a couple of good pictures. Hopefully I will get to post them soon.

Alabama

Nancy got a new dog this past weekend. Her name is Alambama but we are going to call her Bama. She is so beautiful, but is going to be big!!!

Emery & Show Biz

I took Nancy & Emery to meet Show Biz this past Thursday. Emery took right to Biz, it must be mine gens kicking in, & wanted to pet him.

Baby Sitting Nate

I watched Nate this past Friday for Frankie so she could go out for her birthday. this is the first time Nate has spent a night away from Mommy & Daddy. Frankie handled it very well but Todd was freaking out. I explained to him this will be the best sleep he has ever gotten. of course when I returned him home Saturday morning Todd was like I never even thought about him, I just passed out. so they were able to celebrate Frankie's birthday in style.

Scrapbook weekend Get Away

This past weekend I went with Frankie to New Port News, VA. She had a booth at the scrapbook lock-in for her store Got Memories? I went to watch Nate for her while she & amy were manning the booth. I don't think any of us got more than 20-23 hours of sleep over ther 3 nights. Nate is a great baby, he mainly just chills out & watches what you are doing. Noe to self never ever go on vacation with out a pack n play for the baby to sleep in. Frankie got little to no sleep while making sure Nate didn't fall off the bed.

Frankie made lots of contacts & is hoping to make this a regular show to visit.

Emery's 1st Birthday

Emery's 1st birthday was on Saturday. Nancy had everyone over to her house for pizza & cake. It was so nice to meet her & Brannons family. Of course about half way through it, Emery was pooped out. He did rec tons of presentsKeith & I stayed after the party to hang out & socialise with Nancy & Brannon. Nancy & I watched TV in the living room while the men went to the man cave, ie. the sun room.

Baby Sitting Faith

I got to watch my god daughter,Faith, while her parents were at a church function on Friday. I picked her up from there house at 5pm, and then went to meet Keith, Michael, Sarah,& Sydney for dinner at Tripps. Which of course during the meal both Faith & Sydney tried to go to sleep. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the company. We also found out that Sarah will be changing Jobs & going back to The Fresh Market in the corporate area as a para-Legal. i return Faith Back to Stephanie around 9:30 & got to catch up with her.

The Big Apple

Mom & I went to Reidsville to go to the big apple, a feed mill. Mom bought fertilizer for the pasture & I just looked around. We then asked were was a good place to eat lunch & they recommended Short Sugar's. When we pulled up mom realized that it was the same place her dad use to take her & her brothers to eat barbecue. We did enjoy our food & got a little history about the place from our waitress. Afterwards we took pictures for Mom.

Brand Nubian

My 1st concert!!!! Michelle invited me to join her to a concert in Chapel Hill, Keith didn't go because he had to work. She has been able to find this place called Cats cradle that host Scion concerts for FREE!!!!!! This month was Brand Nubian, a group Michelle loves. I enjoyed the show immensely, and couldn't contain myself. I am sure people thought something was wrong with me because I just stood there with a big grin on my face the whole time they were on stage. Pictures to be posted soon.

Sushi

Who knew I would love Sushi, COOKED NOT RAW!!!! Back in September my mom, Kendra & I went to Washabi on Market Street in Greensboro & ate Sushi. Kendra & I wasn't sure if we would like it but decided to give it a chance. We have since then returned this past Thursaday night & enjoyed it even more. An old family friend Pam join us also. It was nice just to have the ladys together catching up on the last couple of months. I will post pictures later.

Michelle's Tatoo

Michelle got a tattoo on Valentines in memory of her daughter, Emmah. It's 8 shooting stars across her chest to represent each month she was alive. I will post pictures later. I think the tattoo artist did a great job in making that memory continue. I love the Tattoo!!!!!!

Natural Science Center

I went with Anna & my Nephews to the Natural Science center on 1/31/08. Anna drove up to meet me for lunch at Chick-fila & then we took the boys to the Science Center. Boy has it change with the new money it has gotten!!! The out side was the best, I think. Which of course they are still working on, since they started last fall. We got to pet the baby joeys, I will post pictures later. It was great being able to spend time with Anna & the boys I have missed them so much.

Faith's Birthday Party

Stephanie had Faiths 1st party at Chuckie Cheese. I got to see and Faith for a whole 1.5 hrs. It was great, every time Stephanie & I seem to make plans to see each other they get messed up. Faith was a Deva as usual, styling and profiling. (see pictures) She enjoyed the pizza & birthday cake. Around 1pm faith started to get tired and I picked her up to swing her to sleep. There is nothing sweeter in the world than a sleeping baby. Stephanie opened her presents & sent her thanks. We then corralled the clan outside so everyone could go on there merry way.

Valentines

Keith and I celebrated Valentines by staying home & not dealing with the crazies out and about on Valentines.

However we had our dinner on Friday night with Michelle,Nancy, Brannon, & Emery. We went to this restaraunt I had heard had great Italian, Giannos. It wasn't so good in our options, we had bad service & the food was just ok! We did have fun with each other & the confersations were running crazy & all over the place. Need less to Say I had blast!!!! I love enjoying the company of a group there is always at least 2 conversations going on about different things & no one seems to be left out.

Bowling, who knew you needed a reservation!

Keith and I went bowling with friends this Friday, and we had a blast! We desided to meet at 7:30 to get a lane & bowl for a couple of hours. I get there & asked for a lane, the guy tells me he won't have one until 9pm. So we decide to waste time by letting Nancy & Brannon get a bite. Michelle, Collin & I ate at Mario's Pizza prior. We went back at the bowling alley & had to wait another 15 min before we got a lane. Who knew you needed to get reservations to bowl on a Friday night!?!?

Girls Night, Take 2

Nancy planned a girls night at her house on Monday due to Brannon being out of town. So we could have the whole house to ourselfs. Nancy kept asking me if I was really ready for a kid all day, because Emery ran us ragged. Emery Passed out at 7 pm, so we really got to enjoy ourselfs. However no one came & it ended up just being Nancy & me. We watched a confusing movie: Suburban Girl. I don't recommend it, but we enjoyed laying on our own couch & eating Stouffers Lasagna. What a great evening!

A Night Down Town

Keith & I went with a friend from work, Michelle, to Renassance club down town on Friday. Keith really enjoyed lessening to the live band play, I think this is the begining of a new place to go. They had all the instruments he likes: Trumpet, Trombone,& Sax. Michelle and I went upstairs to the DJ floor & danced some, but I felt guilty since the music down stairs had stopped. Plus Keith didn't take a nap, so we decided to leave. We ended up leaving around 12:30 and both of us fell into the bed already sleeping before our heads hit the pillows. I tried to get up early 8:00am- which Keith says is 2.5 hrs behind early, since he gets up at 5:30 am for work, god I don't miss 1st shift! I didn't want to sleep to late so I could take a nap before I had to work Saturday night & ended up back in bed by 10:30 am. I guess 2 nights out late & I am wore out!!!

Girls Night Out!!

I finally got to go out with Michelle & Erin. we started off the night going to the tatto place to get ther nose pierced, of course I said they were crazy! How about we walk into the place & some one there new me from High school & called me out. Michelle & Erin just starting laughing there butts off, here we are at the tatto place & I am wearing a cardigan looking like the a soccer mom & someone says they remeber me from high school. We then end up at Jakes a pool hall on Tate st. We enjoyed our selfs greatly & desided to make this an every week thing.

Lynn's House Warming Party

Lynn's new house is gorgeous!!! I can't help but be jealous every time I visit her, but I am extremely happy she has been able to find a house that works for every one. Lynn has been able to move her mother in with her & Cody, and all be under one roof. Which makes taking care of Bonnie (Lynn's mom) so much easier. Cody has been able to get his small farm were he can get a horse, and Lynn has been able to enjoy having the 2 most important people in her life close to her, were she can keep an eye on them both.

It was a wonderful party were a lot of her new neighbors came to see the house & all the changes they have made. Some colleagues came from work & friends from New Jersey flew down to help christen in the new house. Lynn had added several additions to the house including 2 new kittens (Sugar & Spice), one of the weekend nurses horse (Teddy) along with there crew of 3 dogs (Harley, Gunner, & Bella)& 1 foster dog.

Baby Sitting Sydney

YES!!! You heard me right I got to babysit my neice on Saturday!!!!! Michael & Sarah droped her off this morning & I got to keep her until 2pm. We played all day in between her little cat naps. I have to say I was a little tired because my body was ready to lay down at 1pm to take my nap before I went to work. I felt bad because Sarah & Michael seemed to want to stay for a little while & I had to rush them out so I could go to sleep. It also snowed, and PURE snow at that. This must have been a miracle we don't get PURE snow in North Carolina!! We normally get wintery mix, which means ice mixed with crap. So we endure crazy drivers that don't know how to drive in the stuff & think they can drive the same speed they normally do until they end up in the ditch.

Kaylee Lynn Fox

My girl friend, Brooke, at work finally had her baby. It's a girl 6lbs, 10oz!!!! I haven't been able to go to the hospital with my crazy schedule, but when I return from Disney I plan on making a visit to her house to see the new bundle of JOY!!!!

Pampered Chef Party

Saturday I had friends & colleagues come over for a pampered chef party at my house. I had a few turn out but it wasn't a real big hit, due to the lack of organization from the consultant. However Lynn, Eve, Sarah, Lynn (Sarah's mom), JJ, and Sydney (my niece) was able to come during there busy schedules. We enjoyed our selfs for what it was worth & Keith had an excuse to leave the house & do what ever he needs to do.

4th Wedding Anniversary

Keith & I have been married 4 years on 1/9/08. It has been a wonderful & blessed time for us. We have had our ups and downs with sickness & of course me with jobs, but have been able to find our way through. I think we have learned that we have to keep talking about everything & anything, along with certain guide lines we put together for each other in keeping the marriage alive & well.

We were able to buy a house last year, and plan on doing the yard this year. Of course for some reason I feel we need to get every thing done now but, thanks to Keith I try to keep a level head about things.

We enjoyed a nice dinner at my favorite Outback, & then tried to visit the jewelery store for my diamonds. Unfortuently the store was closed so we went the next day & I got a beautiful diamond ring.
